Ingredients
1 cup of lukewarm water
2 tablespoons of active dry yeast
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
3 tablespoons of honey
2 teaspoons of salt
3 cups of rye flour
2 cups of bread flour
1/4 cup of wheat germ
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the lukewarm water and active dry yeast, and stir until the yeast is dissolved.
Add the vegetable oil, honey, salt, rye flour, bread flour, and wheat germ, and mix until all the ingredients are well-combined.
Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Shape the dough into a round loaf, and place it on a greased baking sheet.
Cover the dough with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 45-60 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the bread for 40-45 minutes, or until it is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool completely before slicing.
