Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the oregano, basil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt and pepper. Rub the pork chops with the mixture.
  4. Add the pork chops to the hot skillet. Cook for 3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the pork chops to an oven-safe baking dish.
  6. Add the butter and chicken broth to the skillet. Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  7. Pour the sauce over the pork chops. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
