Ingredients

  • 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add shrimp to the marinade, and turn to coat evenly.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat broiler to high.
  4. Arrange shrimp on a baking sheet. Broil for 2-3 minutes, or until shrimp are cooked through.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before peeling and serving.
