1 cup brown rice
2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt

Directions
Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the brown rice, stirring to coat with the oil.
Pour in the water and add the salt. Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in the parsley.
