Ingredients
1 pound lamb stew meat
1 cup dry green lentils
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Directions
Set the Instant Pot to Sauté mode. Add the lamb and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the lentils, bell pepper, tomatoes, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, ginger, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne pepper (if using), black pepper, cloves, allspice, cilantro or parsley, and chicken stock.
Stir to combine and close the lid. Set the Instant Pot to Manual Pressure Cook mode for 25 minutes.
Once the cooking time is finished, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release the remaining pressure.
Serve with couscous or rice.
