Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup tequila
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 16 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the garlic, olive oil, tequila, lime juice, orange juice, cumin, chili powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  2. Add the steak cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the steak cubes onto the bamboo skewers. Discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes per side or until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Serve the skewers hot.
