  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Additional butter for frying


  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add melted butter and milk and mix until fully combined.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter for frying.
  4. Spoon the dumpling mixture into the skillet, in batches, and cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer the cooked dumplings to a plate and drizzle with maple syrup.
