Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds of beef marrow bones
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of sea salt
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon of black peppercorns
  • 8 cups of filtered water

Directions

  1. Preheat the slow cooker to low.
  2. Place the beef marrow bones, onion, carrots, and celery in the slow cooker.
  3. Add the apple cider vinegar, sea salt, bay leaves, and black peppercorns.
  4. Pour the filtered water over the ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  6. Strain the broth and discard the solids.
  7. Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
