Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup toasted nuts of your choice

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the maple syrup, corn syrup, sugar, and salt. Stir to combine.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in the toasted nuts.
  5. Spread the mixture onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Allow the mixture to cool and harden.
  6. Once hardened, break the brittle into pieces and enjoy!
