- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup toasted nuts of your choice
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the maple syrup, corn syrup, sugar, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract.
- Fold in the toasted nuts.
- Spread the mixture onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Allow the mixture to cool and harden.
- Once hardened, break the brittle into pieces and enjoy!
