Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
24 miniature muffin cups
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease 24 miniature muffin cups.
In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, light brown sugar, flour, and salt. Stir until blended.
Stir in the chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
Fill each of the prepared muffin cups with 1 tablespoon of the mixture.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Chocolate-Pecan Tassies can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
These mini pies are also great for gifting, especially during the holidays.
The pecans can be substituted with walnuts or almonds.
