Green-Brown Rice With Corn

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 1 cup green rice
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup corn (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion powder and garlic powder, and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add the brown rice and green rice to the pot, and stir to combine.
  4. Add the vegetable broth, and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low, and cover. Simmer for 20 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
  6. Add the corn, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, and enjoy!
