Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the ground beef, garlic, oregano, cumin, coriander, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Lay a wonton wrapper on a flat surface. Place about 1 teaspoon of the beef mixture in the center of the wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold the wrapper in half, pressing the edges together to seal.
  3. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and beef mixture until all of the manti are formed.
  4. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the manti to the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes, or until the manti are cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, mix together the yogurt, ground red pepper, and melted butter.
  6. Drain the manti and transfer to a serving dish. Drizzle the yogurt sauce over the manti and serve.
