Ingredients

  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1 cup pineapple, diced
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the diced mango, pineapple, vinegar, sugar, cumin, coriander, ginger, salt, and red pepper. Stir to combine.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from the heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Transfer the chutney to a jar or airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
