Ingredients

  • 3 cups of rhubarb, diced
  • 1/2 cup of white sugar
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine rhubarb, white sugar, and brown sugar. Pour into the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, flour, baking powder, salt, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir until ingredients are well combined.
  4. Pour batter over rhubarb mixture. Spread evenly.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
