Ingredients
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Orange and black food coloring
- 1 package (14.3 ounces) Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup melted semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar, and continue beating until creamy. Beat in eggs one at a time, and then stir in vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Separate the batter into two bowls. Add orange food coloring to one bowl, and black food coloring to the other.
- Line the bottom of the springform pan with a single layer of Oreo cookies. Spread the orange batter over the cookies, and top with a layer of black batter.
- Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until the center is almost set. Let cool completely.
- Drizzle the cooled cheesecake with melted chocolate, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
