Ingredients

  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Romano cheese
  • 1/2 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Assorted fresh vegetables, crackers, and/or sliced French bread, for serving

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese, and Romano cheese. Mix until ingredients are well combined.
  2. In a separate small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and olive oil. Mix until ingredients are well combined.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on a serving plate. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the cream cheese mixture. Serve immediately with assorted fresh vegetables, crackers, and/or sliced French bread.

  • This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to two days.
  • This recipe is a great way to use up stale bread.
  • You can add more or less red pepper flakes, depending on how spicy you like your dip.
