Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, baking soda, and salt. Stir until combined.
  3. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  6. Pour mixture into a greased 8x8 inch baking pan.
  7. Cool in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  8. Cut into small cubes and enjoy!
