In a large bowl, combine the pork, mushrooms, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger, white pepper, and salt. Mix until everything is evenly distributed.
Lay out the wonton wrappers on a work surface. Place a heaping teaspoon of the pork filling in the center of each wrapper. Use your finger to moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water.
Fold the wrapper in half, pressing the edges together to seal. Place the wontons on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the wontons in batches and fry until golden brown, about 1 to 2 minutes per side. Remove the wontons from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
Serve the wontons hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
