Ingredients
- 3/4 cup honey
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a bowl, mix together the honey, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, walnuts, almonds, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the eggs and melted butter until light and fluffy.
- Stir the egg mixture into the honey mixture and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
