Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the honey, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, walnuts, almonds, and sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together the eggs and melted butter until light and fluffy.
  4. Stir the egg mixture into the honey mixture and mix until thoroughly combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
