Ingredients
- 2 kohlrabi bulbs, peeled and cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the kohlrabi cubes and cook until just tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until combined. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly until the sauce is thick and creamy. Stir in the garlic powder, oregano, and pepper.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and whisk until melted. Add the cooked kohlrabi cubes and stir until combined.
- Serve the kohlrabi with white sauce over cooked rice or pasta.
