Ingredients

  • 3-4 lb. beef brisket, fat trimmed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 bottle of beer (12 oz)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Rub mixture onto the brisket and place into a roasting pan.
  4. Scatter diced onion and minced garlic around the brisket.
  5. Pour beer into roasting pan.
  6. Cover pan with foil and place in the preheated oven.
  7. Cook for 2-3 hours, until internal temperature reaches about 160°F.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
