Ingredients
- 2 lbs kumquats, sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the kumquats, sugar, and water.
- Stir the mixture until the sugar has dissolved, then bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cinnamon and continue to simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool before serving.
