Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 bell peppers, diced
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 1 cup of beef broth
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup of frozen peas

Directions

  1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it is browned, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the garlic, onion, carrots, and bell peppers to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper and stir to combine. Add the tomato paste and beef broth and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat to a simmer, and cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Add the potatoes, cover the pot, and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
  5. Add the frozen peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Serve the jajukh warm with some crusty bread. Enjoy!
