Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 pound sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Place the diced sweet potatoes in the baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the pecans, sausage, butter, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt and pepper. Mix until completely combined.
- Spread the mixture over the sweet potatoes in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and the topping is lightly browned.
