Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds of king crab legs
  • 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons of smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 2 lemons, quartered
  • 1 large onion, cut into chunks
  • 4 ears of corn, cut into thirds
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a large pot, bring 4-5 quarts of water to a boil over high heat.
  2. Add the Old Bay seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper to the boiling water and stir.
  3. Add the garlic, lemons, onions, and corn to the pot and reduce the heat to a simmer.
  4. Add the king crab legs and shrimp to the pot and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Remove the king crab legs and shrimp from the pot and transfer to a serving platter.
  6. Add the butter to the cooking liquid and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  7. Serve the king crab and shrimp with the cooking liquid and enjoy!
