Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup low-carb sweetener (e.g. stevia)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, sweetener, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Spread batter evenly into prepared cake pan and bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  6. Let cool before slicing and serving.
