Ingredients
- 2-3 pounds boneless pork shoulder roast
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup coconut aminos
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture onto the pork roast.
- Place the roast in a roasting pan and pour the coconut aminos, water, honey, liquid smoke, and apple cider vinegar over the pork.
- Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and place in the oven to roast for 1 1/2 hours.
- After 1 1/2 hours, remove the foil and continue roasting for an additional 30 minutes or until the pork is fork-tender.
- Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
