Ingredients
1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 onions, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced

Directions
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes, until the chicken is lightly browned.
Add the onions, garlic, and thyme. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the flour and paprika. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add the broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add the peas and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the dumplings. In a medium bowl, combine the self-rising flour, melted butter, and milk. Mix until the dough comes together.
Drop the dough by spoonfuls into the simmering broth. Cover the pot and simmer for 20 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy!
