Ingredients
- 1 pound of fresh asparagus
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper
Directions
- Wash the asparagus and cut off the tough ends.
- Put the asparagus in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
- Drain the asparagus and transfer to a blender. Add the cream, butter, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the mousse to a bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Serve chilled.
