Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
Stir in the yogurt and vanilla. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended.
Fold in the mashed bananas until combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
