Ingredients

  • 2 (6-ounce) tuna steaks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced honeydew melon
  • 1/2 cup diced cantaloupe
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Directions

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Pat the tuna steaks dry with a paper towel and brush with the olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper and sprinkle over the tuna steaks.
  4. Grill the steaks for about 3 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine the melon, cantaloupe, onion, cilantro, and lime juice. Mix until combined.
  6. Serve the tuna steaks with the melon salsa.
