Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of Irish cream liqueur
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
Directions
- In a small saucepan, heat the Irish cream liqueur and heavy cream over medium heat until just simmering.
- Remove from heat and add in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips. Stir until melted and combined.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly and then pour into a shallow dish.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least two hours or until the mixture is set.
- Once set, remove from the refrigerator and spoon out teaspoon-sized pieces of the mixture. Roll into balls and roll in the chopped nuts if desired.
- Place the truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least an hour or until firm.
