Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Set your Instant Pot to the sauté setting.
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the pot and cook for about 5 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  5. Pour the barbecue sauce over the chicken.
  6. Secure the lid on the Instant Pot and make sure the vent is set to “sealing”.
  7. Set the Instant Pot to “manual” and cook for 8 minutes.
  8. When the timer goes off, do a quick release of the pressure.
  9. Once the pressure is released, carefully remove the lid and stir the chicken to coat it in the sauce.
  10. Serve the chicken with your favorite sides and enjoy!
