Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the warm water, honey, and yeast. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes until the yeast is activated.

  4. Grease a 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place the dough in the slow cooker and cover with the lid. Cook on low for 2 hours.
  5. Remove the lid and let the bread cool for 10 minutes. Remove the bread from the slow cooker and let cool completely before slicing.
