1 can (15.5 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (4 ounces) diced green chiles
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup chipotle baja sauce
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro, plus more for garnish
Directions
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground turkey until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
Transfer the cooked turkey to a slow cooker.
Add the black beans, diced tomatoes, green chiles, onion, garlic powder, oregano, cumin, chili powder, sea salt, black pepper, chicken broth, and chipotle baja sauce to the slow cooker.
Stir to combine and cover with the lid.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the chopped cilantro before serving.
Garnish with additional cilantro, if desired.
