Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Spread peaches into the bottom of the unbaked pie shell.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine honey, flour, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until blended.
  4. Sprinkle mixture over the peaches and spread evenly.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, oats, and walnuts. Sprinkle over the top of the pie.
  6. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned and the filling is bubbly.
  7. Cool before serving.
