This homemade vegan cheddar cheese sauce is a creamy and delicious alternative to traditional cheddar cheese sauce. Made with plant-based ingredients, it's perfect for drizzling over nachos, veggies, or pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews, soaked and drained
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water

Directions
