Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped
  • 6 large egg yolks

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla bean seeds. Heat over medium heat until mixture is steaming.
