Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 ounces) baked beans
  • 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.
  3. Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
  4. Return the cooked ground beef and bacon to the skillet with the onions and garlic.
  5. Add the drained and rinsed kidney beans, pinto beans, black beans, baked beans, and diced tomatoes to the skillet.
  6. Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  7. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
