- 9 whole wheat lasagna noodles
- 1 pound lean ground turkey

- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups low-fat cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

- Finish with a final layer of 3 lasagna noodles and the remaining turkey and tomato sauce mixture. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then, remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
