Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 3 tablespoons harissa paste
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1 tablespoon tahini
Directions
- In a food processor, add the chickpeas, harissa paste, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, and salt and pepper. Process until smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, if necessary.
- Add the tahini (if using) and pulse a few times to combine.
- Serve with pita bread, crackers, or vegetable sticks.
