Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in dark chocolate chips.
  6. Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish with coconut oil and spread the batter evenly.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes before cutting into bars.
