Ingredients

  • 4 tuna steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 cup macadamia nuts, crushed
  • 1/2 papaya, diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

Directions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, chili powder, garlic powder, and ginger. Brush each tuna steak with the mixture.
  3. Roll the tuna steaks in the crushed macadamia nuts to coat.
  4. Place the tuna steaks on the preheated grill and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine the diced papaya, bell pepper, lime juice, honey, and cilantro. Mix well.
  6. Serve the grilled tuna steaks with the papaya salsa.
