Ingredients
1 lb ground bison
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

6 slices bacon

Directions
In a large bowl, combine the ground bison, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried basil. Mix the ingredients together until well-combined.
Form the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties.
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grease the grill with a bit of oil or cooking spray.
Place the patties on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the burgers are cooked through.
Add the bacon to the grill and cook until crispy, about 4 minutes per side.
Place a slice of cheese on each patty and cook until melted, about 1 minute.
Toast the buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown.
To assemble the burgers, place a patty on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a slice of bacon and the top bun. Serve immediately.
