Ingredients
- 2 pounds green beans, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
Directions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the green beans and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Drain the green beans and transfer to a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, orange zest, salt and pepper.
- Pour the olive oil mixture over the green beans and toss to coat.
- Add the orange juice and toss again.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
