Ingredients
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
1/3 cup apple cider
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the green beans and sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring often.
Add the cider, sugar, salt and pepper to the pan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and serve warm.
