Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the grapes, onion, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the cooked rice, soy sauce, water, and salt and pepper. Stir until combined.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
  5. Serve warm.
