Karen-A-S Chocolate Dump Cake

Ingredients

• 1 package devil's food cake mix
• 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter
• 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 (15-ounce) can cherry pie filling
• 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Pour dry cake mix into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
3. Melt butter in the microwave and pour it over the cake mix.
4. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the cake mix.
5. Spread cherry pie filling over the top of the cake.
6. Sprinkle pecans over the top of the cake.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

• The name "dump cake" comes from the fact that all of the ingredients are "dumped" into the pan without any mixing.
• This recipe can easily be doubled for a larger crowd.
