Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Stir in the melted butter and milk until just blended.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Arrange the peaches over the batter. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
