Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 ounces) potato gnocchi
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Fontina cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add gnocchi and cook according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth. Stir in cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add Fontina cheese and Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Drain cooked gnocchi and add to skillet. Toss to coat with sauce.
